FINALLY Love is Love!! I performed ceremonies for same-sex couples for many years when the only option for declaring your love was a commitment ceremony. I am so grateful that those ceremonies are now legal marriages!
Important Update: You can be legally married by a friend or family member after they are ordained through a simple, free on-line service. I will help your designated officiate through that process as well as coach them to guide your wedding ceremony and deliver a wedding script with ease and confidence. We wanted an officiant who was experienced officiating gay weddings. After some conversations, Shyamala took all the fragmented elements we loved and wove them into a beautiful script. We did a rehearsal with Shyamala which I highly recommend as it quieted our anxieties about where to step and walk, etc. This was not a cookie cutter ceremony but a very personalized celebration all about our relationship, story, values, and future together.
